explain the sense of acids and bases

Since the first researchers have tried to identify acids and bases. Research on acids and bases in the start with other substances. Antoine Laurent Lavoisier was a French native who has identified chemical acids and bases based on their chemical composition. According to Lavoisier, all acids contain oxygen. For example, ethanoic acid (CH3COOH), carbonic acid (H2CO3), and sulfuric acid (H2SO4). However, in 1810 a British chemist Sir Humphry Davy named proves that not all the oxygen-containing acid, such as hydrochloric acid (HCI). By Humphry Davy in saying that the acid is senyewa containing hydrogen. The explanation is very unsatisfactory and continued penilitian done by experts.

In 1887 someone at the Swedish chemist, Svante Arrhenius provide an explanation of the nature - the nature of acids and bases. According to Arrhenius, an acid is a substance yaang when dissolved in water to produce hydrogen ions (H +). On the other hand, Arrhenius explained that the base is a substance that, when in larutka in water will produce hydroxide ions (OH-).

Acid in their daily lives
Many acid solution contained in their daily lives in alamii acids found in fruits dansayuran. For example, Orange and Lemon contains citric acid, while tomatoes and vegetables contain ascorbic, on the material we know the food flavor enhancer kitchen vinegar. Materials kitchen vinegar contains acetic acid.

In the researchers used nitric acid to separate gold from silver. Aki on motor vehicles containing corrosive sulfuric acid. Acid in our body helps the backside of foodstuffs, while in the mouth are acid-producing bacteria that can damage tooth enamel.
